Leadership in the Digital World
From Digital Users to Digital Leaders
Join us for this unique Master Class as digital parenting expert Dr. Elizabeth Milovidov and her son Maximillian Milovidov, a TikTok Youth Council member, share what they’ve learned while building a strong, safe online presence together. Their conversation offers a rare parent-and-teen perspective on raising responsible digital citizens from both sides of the screen.
Matthew Soeth, Executive Director of the Thriving in Games Group, will guide the audience in exploring what it means to be an empathetic digital citizen. Patty Judge, President of ALL RISE, will close out the session with some key takeaways and leave us all with a challenge.
Own your Digital Space
On November 18th, classrooms came together to hear Laura Ogando, an Instructional Specialist with NYC Public Schools, and senior Lolly Holguin discuss what it means to own your digital world. Laura reminded us that we can either accept the algorithm that platforms create for us or actively shape it ourselves. Lolly shared that she takes control of her online experience—managing how she feels about what she sees and what she chooses to share. Together, their insights encouraged all of us to be more intentional, confident, and thoughtful in the way we navigate our digital lives.
Areas that will be explored include:
- Building self-confidence in a digital world
- Making good decisions online
- Developing a safe, supportive community
Our vocabulary and lesson plans provide parents and educators with tools to help youth grow, excel, and reach their dreams. Visit our website to download them for free.
