Nurturing Leaders in Every Lesson
The classroom is more than a place to learn. It is a space where leaders are shaped every day. These Master Classes bring diverse leaders to share their experiences becoming the leaders they are today. Every lesson, group project, and conversation is a chance for each of us to practice leading in a supportive setting that encourages us to rise to our potential.
In these Master Classes, we hear from young people who have demonstrated leadership in their classrooms, providing a roadmap and inspiration for others. In doing so, they show us that we can all be leaders.
Aaron says leadership isn’t a title - it’s an action!
Oumou Barry, New York Jeter’s Leaders ’26 and Gavin Newsome, Kalamazoo Jeter’s Leaders ’26 share their experiences developing into leaders who take action in their communities. Matthew Soeth, Executive Director of the Thriving in Games Group, will guide the audience in exploring what it means to lead with purpose, empathy, and impact. Patty Judge, President of ALL RISE, will learn alongside the audience and share a challenge to put the day’s learning into action.
Areas that will be explored include:
- Growing through adversity
- Finding motivation to act
- Developing trust as a leader
Our vocabulary and lesson plans provide parents and educators with tools to help youth grow and excel and reach their dreams.
