The classroom is more than a place to learn. It is a space where leaders are shaped every day. These Master Classes bring diverse leaders to share their experiences becoming the leaders they are today. Every lesson, group project, and conversation is a chance for each of us to practice leading in a supportive setting that encourages us to rise to our potential.
In these Master Classes, we hear from young people who have demonstrated leadership in their classrooms, providing a roadmap and inspiration for others. In doing so, they show us that we can all be leaders.

In the Leadership in the Classroom Master Class, Oumou Barry and Gavin Newsome shared their experiences developing as leaders and taking action in their communities. They discussed the challenges they faced, what motivated them, and how they earned others’ trust.
Together with Matthew Soeth and Patty Judge, they explored what it means to lead with purpose, empathy, and impact. The conversation offered students and educators ways to recognize leadership in their own lives and put it into action.
