[Linden, CA] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation (AJARF) is proud to announce the May 2022 Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These three organizations connect with the AJARF’s mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

San Joaquin County Mini-Grant Recipient: San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum, Valley Days Valley Days is an educational, immersive living history experience which gives local 3rd through 5th grade students the chance to be pioneer children for a day. Students dress in period clothing, attend classes in the 1860’s Calaveras Schoolhouse, and learn traditional crafts such as ropemaking, blacksmithing, and branding while parent volunteers work alongside. Students also discover the rich history of San Joaquin County and learn how they have a role in shaping their community through action and invention. The mini-grant funding will offset the cost of operating and updating the program ensuring all students receive the safest and highest quality experience. This includes in part, the maintenance of educational facilities, adding curricular supports to living history areas such as our “Dry Diggins Gold Mine”, and retooling our award-winning Valley Days curriculum for more culturally and ethnically diverse audiences.

Bronx County Mini-Grant Recipient: Urban Dove, HiRisers. HiRisers is a peer mentoring and youth employment program preparing students for a lifetime of professional success. Formed when Urban Dove was an after-school organization, it is now a weekly class offered to all students. In addition, HiRisers has introduced in-house internships for students, located within many different school departments. The Mini-Grant will help provide 12 hours of initial HiRisers training for each student, their first opportunity to learn what is required for a professional position. Trained students receive work experience leading activities at a local elementary school. They work two days per week and are paid for their time. In addition, the new in-house internships will provide students with a diversity of options to gain new experiences and insight into future career interests.

Fresno County Mini-Grant Recipient: Hinds Hospice, Circle of Friends Children and Teen Support Group. Since its inception in 1981, Hinds Hospice has understood the value of providing ongoing support to families after the death of a loved one. The "Circle of Friends Children and Teen Support Group" is a specialized program that helps children deal with grief of losing a close loved one, in most cases either a parent, both parents or a sibling. This group is designed to provide a safe space to process their grief and our support groups are facilitated by experienced bereavement support specialists. These group sessions are critical for the well-being, mental and physical development of children & teens who have suffered the unimaginable loss of a parent or sibling. The Mini-Grant will provide financial support for the "Circle of Friends Children and Teen Support" group sessions for children of families who can't afford to pay. This Mini Grant was made possible with the support of the Gregg Raymundo Family, Provident Payments.

Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation Announces Fall 2021 Mini-Grant Recipients

STEM Nova – San Joaquin County, California

Project STEALTH - Fresno County, California

South Bronx Youth Empowerment Mentoring – Bronx County, New York

[Linden, CA] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation (AJARF) is proud to announce the Fall 2021 Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These three organizations connect with the AJARF’s mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.  

Greater Yosemite Council, BSA, San Joaquin County, California has a mission to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. This grant will support their STEM Nova program, designed to encourage natural curiosity and sense of wonder by giving Scouts opportunities to participate in activities, such as robotics and aviation.  The hands-on learning with real-world applications encourages development in a variety of areas, including 21st-century skills and STEM. These skills, such as media literacy, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration, ensure youth will thrive in a world that is constantly evolving.

Fresno Police Chaplaincy, Fresno County, California partners with law enforcement to bring hope to the community through education, mentorship, and counseling services. This grant will support Project STEALTH, which was created to positively impact both youth and families by providing leadership development opportunities through 18-week classes geared to help teens develop positive self-awareness.  Boys and girls will be paired with adult mentors who help them discover ways to handle anger, develop leadership skills, increase their self-awareness, and resolve conflicts.  Lastly, Project STEALTH also takes its students on field trips to expose them to different environments, in hopes of enriching their lives.

Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services, Bronx County, New York has maintained an unwavering commitment for the past 200 years to foster a society where every child and family will have the opportunity to succeed and thrive. They work with the most challenged communities to offer a range of services, such as educational opportunities for economically, disadvantaged children, shelter and casework services for homeless youth, and stigma-free mental health services in community-based settings.  This grant will support ongoing mentoring and community service projects for at-risk youth of the NYCHA Patterson Houses, in hopes of inspiring youth to become responsible citizens.

“Although the Mini-Grant recipients have diverse programs, they all have one thing in common with AJARF, which is the commitment to empower our youth by giving them the skills necessary to reach their unlimited possibilities. I am proud to partner with these organizations in their important work of building responsible citizens,” said AJARF founder, Aaron Judge.

Spring 2021 Mini-Grant Recipients Announced!

Foster and Homeless Youth (FHY) Services Program – San Joaquin County, California

CASA of Fresno and Madera County – Fresno County, California

Bronx Compass High School – Bronx County, New York

These three organizations connect with the AJARF’s mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Foster and Homeless Youth (FHY) Services Program, San Joaquin County, California assists and empowers all systems that support students who are homeless or in foster care. Through support and their voice, foster and homeless youth gain life skills and academic success, empowering them to be self-sufficient and to thrive. The Mini-Grant funding will help subsidize the students in the program to provide groceries, gasoline, clothes, public transportation, laundry, and toiletries. Supporting a student’s basic needs directly supports children and youth experiencing difficult circumstances related to health, finances, housing and family. This can reduce the amount of trauma they experience, and help mitigate learning loss, and support gains in all other educational areas.

CASA of Fresno and Madera County, Fresno County, California is The Voice That Matters For Foster Youth and serves them by empowering volunteers to advocate for them in the court system. CASA recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to serve as advocates to mentor and provide independent observations and reports for high-risk children in foster care. CASA volunteers help each child transition from foster care to a healthy, successful future, whether through family reunification, adoption, or as an independent adult. They are utilizing their grant to create an event, Self-Care is Not Selfish, to honor CASA Advocates and staff members as well as provide programs for team building, mental health awareness, self-care, and well being session to improve and mitigate the effect of advocating foster youth in the most severe of cases.

Bronx Compass High School, Bronx County, New York is developing a Youth Leadership Council and Mentoring Program. Students will learn skills and strategies about becoming an effective leader, begin creating projects to help evaluate and build resources and strategies to inspire school change and equity. Student leaders will be identified and supported with space, time and guidance for developing essential youth leadership skills. They will foster deeper connections between all stakeholders in their community (students, families, staff members, neighborhood) on the foundation of educating and nurturing equitable opportunities.

Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation Announces Winter Mini-grant Recipients

[Linden, CA] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation (AJARF) is proud to announce the Winter 2021 Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These three organizations connect with the AJARF’s mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Delta Sculling Center provides a nine-week spring program, a full academic year program, and a summer camp held in July and August, on the Deep-Water Channel and Delta waterways near Stockton, California. “Mens sanain corpore sano”, a healthy mind in a healthy body, is a value that both the AJARF and Delta Sculling Center’s program share in common. The $2,500 Mini-Grant will be used to provide scholarships, tuitions, nutritional snacks and beverages, along with promotional materials.

Design Science Middle College High School encourages and supports students to attend college classes while enrolled in high school to attain both their high school diploma and their AA degree from Fresno City College. 100% of graduates have been accepted into four-year universities. This $2,500 Mini-Grant will be added to funds earned by students to support Rise Against Hunger, an organization working to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies. The entire student body will package nutritious meals under the guidance of Rise Against Hunger to be distributed to those in need. This project will reinforce the spirit of giving and caring for our world. 


Spring 36, LLC, strives to provide opportunities for youth to grow, create, and realize their fullest potential through a six to-eight-week online Music Video Program. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, their annual Music Video Dance Camp is being impacted, and yet they have adapted to an online program for Spring/Summer of 2021. The participants will be exposed to a diverse range of components involved in creating music videos, in addition to health and fitness, team work, team roles, choreography, and dance techniques. Scholarships and necessary supplies to attend the Music Video Program will be supplied for students through the $2,500 Mini-Grant.

It is exciting to provide youth a chance to learn from diverse experiences that focus on health and fitness, working together, and caring for others,” said Aaron Judge. “The foundation is proud to support these three organizations and recognize them for their hard work and dedication.”

ALL RISE Mini-Grant Awarded to First Tee San Joaquin!

Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce that the First Tee San Joaquin is the recipient of the $2,500 Summer 2020 Mini-Grant for school activities, health & well-being, youth citizenship and character development. 

For over 22 years First Tee of San Joaquin has been using the platform of golf to provide innovative and experiential learning opportunities for young people. Character education and long-term life skills are at the heart of the programs, which are delivered by coaches who have been trained in positive youth development. First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and it’s inherent values to kids and teens. Through after-school and in-school programs, they help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. The mini-grant funds will be used for “golferships” - registration fees for 40-50 under-served youth.

“Any time character education is built into activities for our youth, it makes a huge impact on our communities”, states Aaron Judge, Founder of Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation. “First Tee Golferships will enable kids to participate that may have never had the chance.”
