[Linden, CA, February 18, 2025] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and Founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the February 2025 ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These organizations connect with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Assistance League of Stockton is a 52-year member/volunteer driven organization that is highly motivated to reach out to the community through their philanthropic programs. Providing new clothing for underprivileged and unhoused children within the county, last year they served 856 children in 101 schools. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will allow Assistance League to broaden their program to provide for more children. Through this program, each child receives a pair of jeans; hoodie sweatshirt; t-shirts; underwear and socks. In addition, children receive a packet of personal hygiene items, a packet of school supplies and gift cards. These essentials help fill a tremendous need for the children of our community.

ACTS Foundation, Fresno County, California provides food, housing and education to underserved individuals in the Central Valley. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will support the expansion of the mentorship program to accommodate the growing number of youths participating in their programs. These mentors work closely with six-eight youth each, providing individualized support and guidance during classes that include educational workshops and activities aimed at enhancing academic skills and knowledge. These workshops cover study skills, time management, homework help and career exploration, giving students the necessary tools and resources to excel.

Just Write Community Project, Bronx County, New York uses the power of writing to uplift youth, community members and families. Their program, Write Now! is designed to train young creatives to be authors. Students participate in writing workshops and team building activities where they learn about community, expression, strengthen their writing skills and expand their vocabulary. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will allow youth and mentors to convene for teambuilding and writing workshops, and purchase games, creative supplies and writing materials to make the sessions more interactive and engaging.

October 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Fresno, California

Fast Feet Running and Athletics, Inc., Brooklyn, NY

Waterloo School, Linden, California

[Linden, CA, October 23, 2024] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the October 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These three organizations align with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities. 

 The Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Fresno, California, After-School at the Zoo program is designed to boost self-confidence, inspire curiosity about nature and wildlife, encourage healthy eating and physical movement, and provide a safe environment where young people can freely engage with their immediate surroundings. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will support the purchase of supplies for activities, not limited to painting, drawing, and craft-making, as well as help cover the costs to feed program participants a wholesome meal. The meal fortifies the children in their activities and addresses the problem of food insecurity that can occur in families who experience economic instability while living in temporary housing.

 Fast Feet Running and Athletics, Inc., Brooklyn, New York recognizes the severe need for adaptive exercise and health equity programs for children and young adults with disabilities. The mission of their program Fast Feet is to make athletics, nutrition and social skills development accessible and inclusive to all people. Fast Feet centers on adaptive running programs. Supported by a team of coaches, each athlete learns the fundamentals of track-and-field, as well as how to be a supportive team player and community member. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will help give Bronx students with disabilities the opportunity to train, work out and race. To ensure each individual child’s needs are properly supported, athletes will be paired with volunteers who provide training assistance and positive encouragement.

 Waterloo School, Linden, California has created the #Waterloo Awesome Community project that encourages students to be important partners in their school community through student leadership and student voice. Feeling the desire to expand their learning, not just in the classroom but through the outdoor environment, students voiced their idea to create an outside space. This area will contribute to positive pupil engagement, improve social, emotional and communication skills, provide an area for outdoor reading, as well as boost confidence. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will allow them to create a learning environment with a greater number of plants, greener views, and access to natural play areas, which have proven to have a positive impact on mental health by reducing stress and anxiety.

May 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

[Linden, CA, May 15, 2024] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the May 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These organizations connect with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.  

Visionary Home Builders of California, San Joaquin County, California, is a non-profit affordable housing developer. Their newest property, Grand View Village in Stockton, has three teen centers. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant directly aligns with VHB’s focus areas for the teen centers: Youth Leadership Development, providing opportunities for personal and professional development; Health & Well-being, providing therapeutic activities such as group counseling, workshops that prioritize the mental and emotional health of youth; and School Activities, providing students with access to computers and educational materials that support academic achievement.  The many activities will be foundational elements for enabling youth to engage in both educational and recreational activities within a supportive environment. 

EDsnaps, Inc., Bronx County, New York. Their vision is to turn STEM-learners into STEM-leaders. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant funding will be used to support two in-person programs where enrolled students discover the power of their own mind. This sets the stage for each of them to approach their professional and personal life from a different angle. Students are taught through STEAM experiences basic values focusing on quality education, providing them with the cornerstones for math, reading and writing as well as educating them on soft skills, which helps them become responsible and caring citizens who are willing to help others. Students who successfully graduate and are interested in follow-up programs will be offered internships or stipends in a EDsnaps program or project. 

California CareForce, Fresno County, California operates volunteer-supported, no-cost healthcare clinics that provide vital services to underserved and in-need children, their families, seniors, and veterans who lack access to quality healthcare. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will allow California CareForce to partner with local high schools to provide students the opportunity to be exposed to work in the healthcare field. Students will closely observe healthcare professionals in action and interact directly with the patient receiving care. The students will have opportunities to work with underrepresented groups of people, exposing them to a lifestyle/love of serving others and the rewards of providing care in an underserved area. They can give back to their communities while receiving hands-on experience in a clinical environment.

February 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

Down Syndrome Association of Central California, Fresno County, California

[Linden, CA, February 20, 2024] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the February 2024 ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These organizations connect with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Camp Caterpillar, Hospice of San Joaquin, San Joaquin County, California is a grief program specifically designed to provide mental health services for children who have experienced the loss of someone in their life. Held twice a year in San Joaquin County, Camp Caterpillar is free for all attendees. By participating, children can learn to enjoy their lives instead of struggling with grief as they would have without this program. The camp’s name serves as a reminder that even amidst grief, there is potential for growth and transformation, much like a caterpillar’s journey toward becoming a butterfly. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will provide more children the opportunity to attend the camp and experience the many social-emotional activities planned.

Bronx House, Bronx County, New York is the first and longest-running community center in the Bronx, established in 1911. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will support the Bronx House Vacation Camp, which provides families with a safe and fun place for their children during the Spring Recess. Vacation Camp alternates between recreational and social-emotional learning opportunities with trips to cultural institutions (i.e. Metropolitan Museum of Art) and fun activities. Children will enjoy the pool and gym and playing games that promote teamwork and respect while engaging in healthy physical activity. They will also participate in a one-day community service project and explore New York City.

Improvaneer Summer Camp, Down Syndrome Association of Central California, Fresno County, California

provides programs that support, educate, and social opportunities for the whole family, individuals with Down syndrome, and the community that serves & supports them. Funds from the ALL RISE Mini-Grant will be used to host two sessions of Improvaneer Summer Camp for Fresno/Clovis area youth who have a developmental disability. The Improvaneer Method is a national program created for individuals with developmental disabilities to build social and functional skills through improv games. Skills include voice projection; eye contact; quick thinking; creative thinking; listening; teamwork; problem solving; adaption to change; focus; attention to detail; and character development.

“Each of these recipients provide programs that align with the ALL RISE mission – addressing leadership and citizenship development, health and well-being, and community involvement for youth,” said Aaron Judge. “I am proud to support them as they improve the lives of our youth by engaging with them during important stages of their lives. May 2023 Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

Leadership 101 – Fresno County, California

Baseball Enrichment Program – Bronx County, New York

[Linden, CA] Aaron Judge, New York Yankee and former Fresno State Bulldog, and founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the May 2023 Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $2,500. These organizations connect with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Bridge2College, Fresno County, California has provided leadership workshops, college tours, and scholarships for under-represented exemplary students since 2018. Their monthly leadership development workshops for high school students focus on skills essential for lifelong success, such as time management, public-speaking, organization, communication, and collaboration. This grant will contribute to leadership workshops, college tours to California and Ivy League Universities, and scholarships for Fresno high school students.

NYC Autism Charter Schools Bronx [NYCACS], Bronx County, New York was founded in 2015 to give Bronx families a chance for specialized education by addressing the unique needs of students diagnosed with severe to moderate autism spectrum disorder. NYCACS provides individualized, scientifically based educational services through small class sizes that utilizes a well-rounded functional curriculum and customized differentiated instruction. The Baseball Enrichment Program was developed to improve students’ fine motor skills, such as balance, visual-motor control, body coordination and mobility skills. This grant will allow an organization to provide twice weekly baseball training for Bronx students at the Autism Charter School.

“These organizations and their initiatives perfectly align with our mission by addressing leadership and citizenship development, health and well-being, and community involvement for youth,” said Aaron Judge. “I am proud to partner with these organizations to improve children’s reading, vocabulary and comprehension skills by building students' home libraries, give under-represented high school students the skills and resources needed to achieve their post-secondary educational goals, and provide unique and community-based learning opportunities to students diagnosed with Autism.”

February Mini-grants Announced

Merlo Institute, Green-O-Matics Club – San Joaquin County, California

These organizations connect with the AJARF’s mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Merlo Institute, Green-O-Matics Club – San Joaquin County, California

A two-part project, the overall goal is to become a Green Ribbon School. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant funding will help Green-O-Matics Club with their first project - revitalizing the Merlo Garden area. They will purchase much needed gardening tools, irrigation supplies, plants, sod, weed barriers, bark and soil nutrients. Believing the garden will once again flourish, it will also be used by our preschool program to grow vegetables. The second part is to purchase and provide green waste containers for the cafeteria and outside eating areas, and engaging Environmental Resource Students to monitor and aid in separating food items for proper recycling.

Rise Program, Resiliency Center - Fresno County, California

The ALL RISE Mini-Grant supports the RISE Program, which works with Fresno Unified School District by supporting social- emotional learning through children’s literature. Focused on early intervention and connection with children, the RISE Program uses volunteers in twenty-five elementary schools throughout the district. Students are taught resilience skills such as being in-charge of emotions, controlling impulses, analyzing the cause of problems, empathizing with others, believing in self-worth, and being optimistic. The success is measured by pre - and post-program testing, evaluating the children's understanding of these skillsets, as well as yearly evaluations from teachers in Fresno Unified. The Fresno County Mini-Grant sponsor is Gregg Raymundo Family, Provident Payments, Clovis, California.

Tourette Syndrome Peer Support - Bronx County, New York

The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will underwrite the cost of three support groups designed to reduce tic severity and bolster emotional well- being among youth with lived experience of Turrets Syndrome. Addressing anxiety, depression, social isolation, the programs will be mplemented by peer counselors that will be in-turn be supported by a young adult program coordinator. The members of the Youth Ambassador and Rising Leader Advocacy programs are made up of young leaders who have lived experience of tic disorders. The program is designed specifically to target students of color from low-income families in the Bronx, NY, who may experience additional barriers to access mental healthcare.

“We are leveling the playing field by giving our youth access to resources that help them reach their full potential,” said Aaron Judge. “Our foundation will focus on basic needs for the children by helping support the students and their families - whether it be health, education or social issues. I am proud to partner with these organizations in their relevant and commendable work.”
