AJARF AND THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA BLOOD CENTER PARTNER TO INSPIRE GOOD CITIZENSHIP IN YOUNG ADULTS THROUGH BLOOD DONATION

The two organizations are teaming up to encourage “hometown heroes” to put service above self to save lives.

FRESNO, CA (March 8, 2021) – The Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation and the Central California Blood Center are pleased to announce their partnership to encourage children and young adults to put service above self and become blood donors. The Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation holds a mission to inspire and influence youth to become responsible citizens by engaging with and serving in their communities, and extends that same call to action through blood donation.

“Partnering with the Central California Blood Center is a natural fit for our ALL RISE mission,” says Aaron Judge, Founder of the ALL RISE Foundation. “These two organizations are motivated by service, and now more than ever, it’s crucial that this community steps up to save lives.”

Aaron hopes that the partnership will help the Central California Blood Center overcome some of the challenges it has faced this year in collecting blood due to the continued inability to collect from school closures and other COVID related restrictions. “When I heard the numbers in a community close to my heart, I knew we had to get involved.”

“With the continued closure of school campuses throughout our region, we have lost the opportunity to collect what would typically be anywhere from 40 to 60% of our blood units,” says Christopher Staub, President and CEO of the Central California Blood Center. “This partnership with Aaron and the ALL RISE Foundation comes at a valued time for our organization. Their support will make a huge impact not only in helping collect the blood we so desperately need, but by inspiring our children and young adults to be selfless to impact our communities for years
